Students who attend a course organised by the Virtual University of Bavaria can acquire a graded certificate of achievement. Examinations that may be required to obtain a certificate are:
- online attendance certificates (eg certificate of achievement as a prerequisite for personal attendance at a practical course, a tutorial or examination).
- Graded certificate of achievement requiring the student’s personal attendance (studies-related certificates, oral or written examinations, presentations etc.)
- Individual certificates of performance as part of an online seminar(so-called Scheine)
Further information can be obtained from the details on each course contained in the course programme.
In as far as examinations requiring personal attendance are not already offered near the student’s place of study, it might also be possible to arrange local examinations to be organised in agreement with the examiner.
Should you not be a regular student of a vhb member university but would like to take the vhb courses as other user, please clarify possible participation in examinations and certification (eg whether it meets your expectations) with the course provider before course registration. The mail address of the course provider can be found on the detailed course data sheet of the course programme.
