Students of courses of the Virtual University of Bavaria (vhb) are able to sit an examination. This raises the question whether the certificates of achievement will be recognized as part of their degree course.
Funding by the vhb for the conception of a course is subject to the course being recognized by at least two member universities.
The vhb as a general rule refers students with questions on recognition to the examination office of their home university and asks them to clarify there whether and in how far their vhb course achievement is recognized.

As staff at the member and partner universities you are able to allow students at your university a high degree of flexibility in structuring their studies by recognising any course achievements attained at the vhb.
