The Virtual University of Bavaria (vhb) supports and coordinates the introduction and development of any appropriate online course of any discipline at Bavarian universities. The vhb specifically welcomes those notices of requirements that will expand the thematic focus of courses offered beyond that of the current nine subject groups.

To date vhb courses have been primarily based on German. The number of English language courses is to be expanded in line with the requirements of the universities.

Tendering can include bridging, introduction and preparation courses to facilitate entry into courses.
