Description of Tasks
The steering committee selects on the recommendation of the programme committee from among the notices of requirements received those projects that may be considered for support. The consortium compiles a description of tasks in response to the notice of requirements, which serves as a basis for the tendering procedure and the submission of bids.
Preference is given to those proposals that because of their obligatory integration into the curricula of degree programmes /modules will be used by a large circle of students in their core curriculum and advanced studies at the greatest possible number of member universities or to those proposals that enable new programmes of study (also with, if necessary, low student numbers) to be established, as they reduce the need to offer courses that require face-to-face teaching. No parallel course involving face-to-face teaching may be offered or planned in a given degree programme/module at the applicant universities.
Moreover, the vhb gives preference to proposals that entail a work load of 2 semester hours per week and the commensurate ECTS points. € 40,000 is available for such courses. The vhb conditions valid at the time apply to course implementation (tutorial support for students).
The new net based course offerings must be open beyond the circle of applicant universities to students of all member universities.
The current descriptions of tasks can be found under Downloads – Tendering.
