Information about the vhb

Quality assurance

Each vhb course is subject to strict professional, technical and media educational quality criteria. The projects are supported by the members of the programme committee and the project management during the design phase.


The vhb also involves external experts in its quality management programme, from the initial project design up to the completed course offered, and in the regular evaluation of current courses.

In addition, each course is on completion evaluated by the students.

The training of online tutors guarantees the quality of the support and supervision offered.



"As an external evaluator you approach your task from two different perspectives:  your work is based on a professional subject-related and on a media educational examination of the course in question. Both perspectives are of equal importance in the creation of good courses- and, of course, always require the evaluators not to be parochial in their approach and to show independence of thought, "explains Prof. Dr. Peter A.
