Teaching and learning are based on the exchange of knowledge. That is why we are in exchange with others in networks and educational institutions. We are involved as a member of the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), as an advisory board member of e-teaching.org, as a member of the steering committee of the "Deutscher Bildungsserver" (German Education Server) and in the Stakeholder Dialogue of the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HfD). In the “Netzwerk Landeseinrichtungen für digitale Hochschullehre” (Network of the German federal state institutions for digital university teaching), the vhb is a co-founder of this initiative that intensifies cross-state cooperation. In the “Repo AG” and “AG für Qualitätssicherung” working groups as well as in the MOOChub, we are working on establishing common standards across state borders.
